Actually, they just ran a news article about a guy who owns a fish farm in another part of Florida. His 250+ ponds are starting to freeze over. The fish will die in less that 3 days if the temps don't go up soon. Sad...

I love it. Went fishing yesterday. Caught more ice than anything. Course I'm used to the hot summers. Atl's weather is perfect for me. Snow once or twice a winter, consistent cold and seasons.

hey kingof cool how long have you lived in atlanta? i dont want to sound like a smart arse but having grown up in atl. and lived around metro atl. my whole life [except for that year in n.cal.] there is nothing consistent about the weather here except for july & aug. in winter here it can be heavy coat cold one day and t-shirt weather 2 days later and sometimes in april i'll be hot[80] when it should be cool then in may when it should be getting warm it will be 60-70 the old saying goes "if you dont like the weather just wait a minute and it'll change" my wife always complains about the inconsistancy of the winter weather but i say she should enjoy the break from the cold. that is why i started this thread we aren't used to this length of a cold spell ! i know its winter and jan. but dang its cold!

Trust me, ATL isn't nearly far enough south for this stuff. I'm used to New Orleans Winters (ten days of cold weather near freezing in February).

Moving in this weather is really kicking my aging butt.

Tonight it`s going be a little warmer only -9.

here in hotlanta, its not so hot! now i've got to start out by saying that i curse the hot humid summers here every year especially the hummidity.i didn't know it could be any different untill we spent a year in n. califonia without the h-word it was soooooo nice! but anyway right now its below freezing with a high expected of 34 that just ridculous, now my fav. temps are between 40 -70 but this is well ,just to d*mn cold! i dont know how all you guys up north deal with this! oh well, my work is alittle slow, so out in the cold i go, to run my smoker to have what we all crave some fresh "Q" to try out my 2 new sauces,a bourbon and hawiian. we'll see how much longer i have to cook on account of this cold arse weather[no blankey to keep her warm] porky 24

Pssttt....You gotta get dressed up before you go running outside. Also with temps like that it will shrivel up.... Shocked

This probably one of those times I should just read and keep my mouth shut: It was 78 here yesterday (So Cal), but only 60 right now, if that counts for anything.....
