I was reminded by a post on the Introduction section that English may not be the first language of the members of the forum.
So what other languages are spoken by members.
I speak and write American English, English English (those pesky words with extra u's in them like colour, and flavour) , and some French, spoken languages include Spanish, Italian, German, and enough to shop in Portuguese, Norwegian, Danish, Greek and Japanese, oh and I can swear in Afrikaans! _________________ Here's a change Robert.

I do American and Southern English, can count from 1 to 29 in Japanese as well as a few words and phrases. I've also been dabbling in American Sign Language (ASL), though not much use here. Interesting question, though. Arigato SoEzzy san. _________________ I was taught to respect my elders. It's just getting harder to find them.

Some functional Spanish. . . .
Got a decent grasp on Italian (especially all the curse words. . .)
Despite my best attempts to behave, I am still quite fluent in "french". . .

Pig Latin and Drunkenese here.
The thing is, I speak fluent Drunkenese, but can't understand a word of it when someone else speaks it. _________________ "The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits" - Albert Einstein |

On a more serious note, I've always wanted to learn Mandarin Chinese. I also speak some "restaurant Spanish". _________________ "The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits" - Albert Einstein |

Fluent in Texican in all forms, and a working (heard) grasp of Cajun & Creole (working hard on mimicking the spoken part)
I love the local words like yoostacould - means "I was formerly able to" in "proper" English
really efficient - like y'all instead of "You guys' or "youse guys"
I have reading comprehension of proper English, some (slow) Spanish and some (slow) German - and even slower spoken and heard comprehension of those two languages. _________________ Let's hope SoEzzy can ditch his heavy hand on photos in 2016!
