Copied from another forum.

Folks

Its with great regret I type this note. I learned a little while ago that JamesB died this afternoon. I cant begin to express the complete sense of loss I am feeling for his family, friends and many forum friends. There are very few whole heartedly good people in the world. James was. He was a caring friend who always pitched in, helped out and went the extra mile to help those who knew him. I just cant put to words the sorrow I feel for losing him. He will be deeply missed.

I don't have all the details, what I currently understand is that James had some type of breathing issues that flared up occasionally and this afternoon those breathing issues overtook him and he died before the paramedics could get there.

Please pray for his family.

As I receive more details, we will post those here. I know in the days, weeks and months to come we will want to remember all the good things James did + offer our love and support to his family.

I read of James's passing in the other forum we both are members of.
I haven't been around here too long, but always enjoyed reading James's posts & responses to others. He knew his way around the world of cooking & BBQ. 44 is just too young to die! My prayers go out to Jame's family & friends during this time of great grief & sorrow, I know he will be missed by many.

Please tell his family, he'll be sorely missed here on the smoke ring.

I always valued his contribution and looked at his posts for tips, tricks and good common sense.

My thoughts are with his family!

Just terrible and shocking news. Sad I've read his posts with interest. He had so many plans and just never wanted to quit building things and sharing knowledge. He will truly be missed.

Wow, this comes as a big surprise. He was not only a great contributor to the Ring, but a true friend to a lot of folks here.

He only lived minutes from me, but we never met. We got to know each other on the boards and through e-mails.

Our local prayer warriors have begun the quest of praying for the family. We all know he in in good hands now.

Charlie

James was a good and decent man. I never met him in person.( My Mis-fortune, We where going to meet for lunch when I was to be in DFW area a few mouths ago. My plans changed and I never made the trip)However I got to know him on another forum we both belonged to through his posts and PM's. I always counted him as a true friend and I will miss his wit & wisdom! Gone but not forgotten. Vios Condios Amigo!
