Guys here is a new recipe that I came up with. It has a lot of ingrediants but turned out pretty good. If anyone thinks it looks good enough to try and does, let me know what you think.
½ Medium Red Onion
Olive Oil (enough to Sautee Onions)
2 tbsp. Liquid Smoke (Hickory)
2 ½ tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
6 Small Cloves of Garlic
4 Canned Chipotle Peppers
1-32oz Bottle of Ketchup
1 tsp. Adobo Sauce
¾ Cup Jack Daniels
½ Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp. Chili Powder
5 tbsp. Dark Brown Sugar
¾ tsp. Cumin
½ tsp. Garlic Powder
½ tsp. Black Pepper
2 Dashes Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Paprika
In a sauce pan, sauté the onion in the olive oil until translucent. Stir in the remainder of the ingredients and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour mixture into a blender and blend on the liquefy setting until smooth. If you want to make it even smoother, you can the pour through a sieve. All of Sauce should fit back in to the original bottle. |
