Didn't UGA beat up on you a couple of years ago in the peach bowl? Did you really want it to happen again?
Hey Dawg Phan,
You made it back, where you been? I knew that would come up before I wrote it. You and Pop have proven that we don't belong. You know what, I love football from ankle biters on up and this has been fun, I hope you all see it that way also, thankfully Al Gore invented this internet thing so we can do this. Now, I pull for my home state team just like you all do, good or bad, and I really would have liked to seen VT play UGA because like I think one of you stated before you can't get better unless you play better teams, I wonder which team would benefit from that  If I could teach my buddy from Louisiana to type no one would be able to get a word in.
Now a question for you all, are you having fun with this or are your panties all knotted up? Because if it isn't in fun I will leave it alone. What bowl did UGA get?

My guess is that Va Tech is better than UGA this year, but it's difficult to tell b/c UGA has been so inconsistent (they handed the ball to Ok State three times, gave away a laugher to KY and could easily have beaten LSU). The one thing they have been consistent in is turning the ball over for points and outdoing their opponents in penalties (except for their one ACC matchup, fortunately)
We are headed to the Independence Bowl (I hear Shreveport is lovely this time of year)
BTW, I enjoy a little jabberin'; it's all in fun as far as I'm concerned.  I like the back and forth and it makes me a better analyst and presenter of information for my real job. If you'll look at any of my other posts, I'm more than willing to admit when I'm wrong (or just guessing).
One more thing regarding the ACC question: What do you think the odds would have been that Wake Forest would be the ACC champs within 3 years of adding BC, VT and Miami? The way that whole thing developed just floors me.

Poppa- You know what it comes down to really?
The nuts and bolts of most of these sports debates?
Say your Jimmie Johnson (or anyone else in the Hendricks organization), Payton Manning, Tiger Woods, Shaq, the Gators, etc. etc. etc.................
Nobody likes a winner!

| Yeah, I said before that the AAA-CCC-CCC is kind of a mess. We are pretty proud of our Hokies even with all of that, I mean if you look at what they have done over the last several years, considering all of our second rate issues, it's nothing to be ashamed of. |
