I have a neighbor that has a apricot tree that died this last spring. It is a good size tree and he has offered me all the wood if I assist in the take down.
Has anyone used Apricot wood for smoking? Would figure it would be like Peach but just figured I would ask and see. |

I've cooked and placed in competition with it with my team mate.
We used it with a little Oak 4 - 2 chunks, 3" diameter x 1 - 1.5" deep. _________________ Here's a change Robert.

| Well have a bunch of it cut and sitting out to age. It died last spring but was still pretty wet. Will see how it taste in the spring. Have some Pecan that will come to age about that time as well so may try that mix as well. |
