|
|
Progress on the The Twins slowed as we pushed to finish Kenny's smoker. He will have a great smoker on a budget using scavenged and free parts for most of the build. The tank was a freebie along with the smokestack(a Kenworth driveshaft), and a old tire iron for the firebox door latch.
Cutting the Door
Off to the Races
Cutting to attach Firebox
Here's were I missed a few days of the build. While I was away Kenny and Ryan built the firebox and got the drip pan/ reverse flow plate installed.
Drip Pan
Grease Drain
Cutting Opening to Cook Chamber
Attaching the Firebox
Small Test Fire
Smokestack
Outside for a Bigger Burn
Drawing Well
Adding Legs
Door Hinges
Tire Iron
He just has the finishing touches to complete. It needs to be painted and seasoned and he has to build the cooking rack.
A Happy New Smoker Owner
