....as of a couple of days ago.
Its done now, just have to take some photos it in current shape.
Firing it up tomorrow morning, seasoning for a couple of hours and then off to the races with three racks of baby backs....

Wow - there's some very impressive and interesting stuff going on in this build! What you builders are doing with barrels is amazing - and lately every day brings more outstanding builds!
There sure is a lot of detail work to behold, especially around the cooker door and body interfaces. And those tuning plates are pretty cool - they ought to work great! Did you have those lazered - or did you drill them?
No doubt you've added the firebox air intakes & dampers, and exhaust stacks. One thing you might not have considered is to weld in a small horizontal tab of steel to the top of your center cooking grate support rail, about one third from the front, to keep your grates from flipping over when they're pulled forward (you might never do that - but someone trying to be helpful might ) Just a suggestion.
Can't wait to see this puppy fired up! Really nice work, allusionart!

Best looking barrel smoker I've seen most look homemade which is fine but your looks pro. _________________ Good BBQ is all smoke and beers!
