My son-in-law's brother asked if I would build a cooker for him and I said why not. Very Happy At first he was really interested in a DP clone and now he has changed gears and we are going with a reverse flow. I am building the trailer now and then we will mount his 250 gall. tank. The plan is to have a warmer box over the fire box and a charcoal grill and burners at the front. Due to the rains we have had lately my yard is very wet so we acquired a trailer rig for the trailer build in front of my home.
I love running this Bobcat Very Happy

My weekend and his were pretty busy but we managed to get the trailer body welded out.

Our front porch steel stock pile. (Mrs. K.A.M. not happy with the new yard ornaments)

My trailer holding three sheets of #9 x 3/4'' flat expanded and three sheets of 4' x 8' x 1/4'' plate.

More spare steel in the back of my shop. ( I am running out of room Laughing )

Thanks whitey, Very Happy I loved getting back to listening to that engine driven machine while I was welding. But the old man is sore this morning from being down under the trailer welding in the cross members. Laughing

Thanks Chuck, Very Happy I think my neighbors are wondering if I went into the steel business. Laughing
And I am working on him for a red trailer. Very Happy

Thanks Awning Guy, Very Happy we might want to move my episodes to late night we all know things do not fit well sometimes and after you turn fifty your patience grow shorter Laughing

Thanks cody, Very Happy but the extra steel is sorta my payment for this job I have plans for another tank I have Wink

Thanks Hell Fire Grill. Very Happy

Thanks Mike-in-NC, Very Happy My skin has turned pretty leathery and if I do cut myself its usually pretty bad Shocked Debbie always asks me are you going to use the sharp knife let make sure 911 is working Laughing

Thanks BluzQue, Very Happy Its going to be a rather long build I am afraid so settle in Very Happy

Thanks Beertooth, Very Happy If I cant make something out of this I will hang up my hood. Smile

My son-in-law and I got the trailer finished today and then went and loaded the tank. Tomorrow we are going to get the tank and trailer blasted. I talked to my good friend at the blasting yard and he wants to sweep the rig before I mount anything. No complaints here Very Happy
The tongue is on and I am welding on the spring hangers.

My son-in-law busting slag with the air chisel.

Completed trailer.

The tank loaded and ready for the blasters in the A.M.

Thanks Brinnie, Very Happy I think the most funny part yesterday was watching us load that tank on the trailer. Funniest home videos would have been proud Laughing

Looking good K.A.M. That trialer looks like it will be stout enough to hold two tanks that size. Sure would like to start scrounging up metal to start me a build like that, but the yard patrol would load me and all the metal up and dump us at the local landfill.
