I need a rub that is hotter then hot, I've got a friend that wants me to put a rub on a venison roast for him this week, I want to make it myself out of what I have at home (no store bought, their not hot enough). Does anyone have such a rub that I could barrow. _________________ Fish, Eat, Sleep & Repeat |

| Go buy yourself some habanero's. Dry them. Grind them. Then add to any rub you have or make in whatever quantity and that should spice things up real quick for ya. |

You can buy 100% Ground Chipotle (not in a blend form) Sure there are hotter things but Chipotle is Hot AND flavorful. _________________ https://www.linkedin.com/in/michaeloberry |

Hot to me in a rub = cayenne pepper.
Kik that part up in any store bought rub or recipe you have to your desired heat level.

Agreed - and OMG - I bought some cayenne from a local Penzey's store, and this stuff is the best cayenne I have ever had.... you can beat it's heat with pure habs, but this stuff was both hot and flavorful!! Love the stuff! |

GO TO THE STORE AND GET A JAR OF THAI CHILI PASTE, MIX IT WITH THE RUB AND MAKE A PASTE TO PAINT ON. IT IS HOTTER THAN HABENERO. _________________ Smoke it if you got it,if you got it smoke it |

First there is no reason to yell(all caps).
Do you mind telling me what the peppers are that they use for that paste? |

Sorry about the caps wasn't yelling. Not sure what the exact name is, all I know is they are a type of chinese chili pepper and I believe you can purchase them in the asian food section of wal-mart. They come whole already dried. _________________ Smoke it if you got it,if you got it smoke it |

What you can use for some serious heat is Indian chili powder. Just a tad on the end of your finger will take your breath away. _________________ Chargriller Akorn

What happens if you put it in your mouth?
I had a friend send me some bbq sauce additive from a raunt in seattle. I gave 2 friends a taste one night after a couple of beers and one guy started farting on impact . |

I think you have missed the point of Google.
If you are going to google and post your findings you should try to be thorough or why bother posting anything. After all, is not the point of Google search but to educate yourself..
Just my 2 cents worth.
Thanks for the extensive list phil, more than a few peppers I have never heard of there... _________________ Chargriller Akorn

I didnt miss the point at all. What is it that you dont understand about a "quick" google check?
For me its is usually the first 1-2 results.
If i want to do the research i will look further.
I have seen quite a few of those peppers in my reading about different pepper plants that are available mail order. |

You can always toss in a dash or two of the Ghost Chili (Naga Jolokia) - Penzey's has 'em. But beware. . . . cause those puppies will make ya' cry!
I put the equivalent to the tip of a toothpick's worth on my tongue and it absolutely took my breath away!!!! Habs are plenty hot enough for this gal. . . . _________________
