This piece came out of a very Old foundry in My home town..They were made for the City of Seattle. They had a celebration of Chief Seattle..This is going to Be not a cooking table so much as a Hot holding DO table placed along side the Cooking DO table..

I will build a frame to rest this piece into..Any super cool Ideas? Lets hear them..I know alot of You Guys will come up with some neat ideas.

close up..

I think that the hot holding table would be a great idea and a awesome conversation piece. If it were me though i would check a local historical museum to see if they have one for display. If so let the build begin!

You bet BluesQue I will build the table this weekend..I looked High and Low cant find any of them out there..Pretty neat...I might put a propane burner under it to Hot hold My D.Os or grill flank steak with the Chiefs impression seared into the steak Shocked I think that would be cool..

whitey, that is an awesome piece you have there my Friend. Very Happy I think I would incorporate it into the center of a wind panel on the back of the table. That way it is visible even while the table is in use.
