Anybody got a good recipe for an apple babecue sauce? Cooking with apple wood, having an apple salsa, and looing for a barbecue sauce with apple in it.

I see that it has cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg in it. Does this taste like apple pie? That's actually kinda interesting. I'll give this a try sometime. I got 4 racks of bb's in the freezer that might love to have a bath in this stuff. On another note, you like so much sugar in your sauces that I think you're a misplaced Southerner. Molasses, Turbinado, and cane syrup? I think you might've lived in south Georgia or southeast Alabama at some point. I will definitely be trying this sometime hopefully very soon.

I dont put any sugar in my rubs so the sweetness in my BBQ comes from the sauces I add to them... I have thought at times that maybe I was a southerner in another life.. If ya all believe in that sort of stuff.. Wink

The sauce was inspired by my Ma's apple pie indeed.. Sweet is a good thing my friend. Laughing
