Pulled this from their web site.
"The Shed now has another Franchise . Mobile, Alabama is the perfect spot for a Shed. Situated directly across the street from the University of South Alabama you will see an old sign with a fresh new thought on it.
"Honk if you like really, really good Barbeque" Well, the folks in Mobile have been honking away. Darrin and Jennifer Jasgur and the Orrison/Lewis families have come together to make this Shed happen. The projected opening date is mid October. Stay tuned for more info as it happens! "

They won best booth at MIM in 2008 (not sure about this years result).
Makes ya' wonder if they used pellet cookers how much better the food might be?! _________________ BBQMAN

What does that say about MIM?
If there was ever a way over rated BBQ place with just OK food, it would be The Shed. |

Wife is mad because I went with a friend and not with her. Actually, I did her a favor.
Slaw was good. Sauce was OK at best. Pulled Pork and Chopped Brisket had no smoke flavor and VERY greasy. Beans were in serious need of help.
I loved the Aura but not impressed with the food at all. Wont be going back.
Too bad. I was really looking forward to this place with all the hype.

The Shed is opening here in Hattiesburg at the old "The Bottling Company" location in the Downtown area and they did some catering for a Brownfields program meeting at our train depot. The food was really good and enjoyed by all. I had tried their location north of Gulfport and was glad to hear it had one opening here. I'll add a blurb when they open up...
For those of you traveling this way I'd also recommend Rose's BBQ just south of H'burg on 49. _________________ CharGriller 5050 w/ SFB

| Went to the shed in miss off of I-10. I think it was meridian, miss and it might've been the original. Was not my favorite. Way too much sauce, not much smoke, and possibly boiled. |

Actually, booth decorations are a big deal at MIM.
Always quite the sight!
Sadly it appears the food isn't as good as the decorating..........................
I was not aware of the mac-n-cheese comp when we cooked at the pig jig.
Now you tell me! _________________ BBQMAN
