Hi everyone,

I'm new to smoking. My co-worker brings in some great pork shoulder and it has inspired me to give it a shot myself.

I'm thinking of trying first with my Weber Genesis, making a foil pack with some soaked chips on the back burner, and a pork shoulder in the middle/front area.

I am going to post in the Cooker section because I could use some advice on a smoker, should I get into it!

Welcome to the ring Gig103, looking forward to seeing some pics of your cooks. Smile And Good Luck on your smoker search, may I suggest a WSM? They are great smokers, and can go either as a grill or super long unattended smokes.
