Well, I was gonna post my pics last night but after a wee bit too much wine (who’s counting??) and a house full of very pleasant company, I was tuckered out. I've got a few cups of coffee in me now so, without further ado -----
After all the smack talk, it’s time for me to “face the music” . . . . Here are the pics of the goodies I served up last night. . . .
On the dessert menu: Cherry Peach Spiced Cobbler (a la mode, of course, w/ vanilla bean IC. . . . ).
Ingredients and Prep (4 ½ # of peaches and cherries and sugar in the bowl on the left -- rest of the stuff is for the topping):
Tossed w/ sugar and lemon juice then on the smoker they go (cranked up to 375F):
90 minutes in. . . . . Mmmmmm, peaches and cherries cooking away. Then time for a quick stir, add the topping and back in the cooker for 30 mins (had to crank up the cooker to 400F for this part):
Hot off the cooker (notice that it's NOT a twinkie. . . . ):
Final picture of my TD entry – mmmm. . . .hot, bubbly fruit under that topping. . . . :
The final plate-up – with the ice cream juuuuust starting to melt a bit:
The other side. . . . .
Well, there it is. . . . I'll post the recipe in the dessert section of this forum. _________________

Here it is Men...We are in the House!
Here's my little confession too....
I have NEVER made a dessert on the Cooker before!
Heck, i haven't made a pie in 20 years!
I "wung it", and i'm pretty happy with the results, so here we go....
Game face...10 minutes out of bed...
Now too the food!
Cinnamon,Raspberry, Pear, "cooker" pie.
I like to keep it simple, just like cooking outdoors should be...Prepped in the Kitchen by hand with Pears grown in my backyard and baked in the Weber!
A cup of coffee out on the deck in the sun.....Doesn't get much better.
The "Money" shots....
The "Honey" shots...(for the men)
Indoor lighting sucks, but she wouldn't do it outside...
*removed*....That's enough of that men!
I started with Pears from my backyard tree...
Had to buy the raspberries, mine were long done for the year..
I left the pears in quarters or better, and laid them in with the berries.
I made the spice/sugar/Lemon mix, it ends up being a granular paste so i "grated" it in to get even coverage.
I forgot that pic...
Here is the lattice cover and a nice brown sugar, butter, cinnamon "mop" on the top crust.
The tent..
The "Infamous" "Grilled foil" shot!
...Pop the the top.
....and coming off after 50 minutes at 425 tapering to 375.
A nice little powdered sugar, Milk and Butter frosting to drizzle over it after adding cold berries....
Blends into the pie while still hot, but cools on the berries.

usrifle, My Man Oh yeh, now that right there is a fine looking dessert done on a Kettle. And I must say a very nice presentation. Mine just came off the smoker and is resting. It is hard work I have been picking peppers, tilled the garden, cooking supper and now finally get my first beer. For you ladies out there Mrs.K.A.M.'s little breakfast seems to have gotten me in high gear. I am like the Military I have done more before 5:00 A.M. than most have done all Day, Man I feel good. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.
