| Folks, I am new to the "smoker" world, and am very excited to get started based on what I have read in this forum. I was hoping that someone could provide me with a relatively local source for BBQ Wood (e.g. Cherry, Pecan, etc.) in the Maryland/Northern Virginia/ Washington DC area. I live in Frederick, MD in particular. I realize that we may not be able to grow "pecan" up here, but there must be sources that can sell chunks. I am really looking for split wood 2.5" in diameter or so, but chunks will do. Someone mentioned BBQ Galore in Springfield, but I haven't contacted them yet. Any suggestions are most appreciated !! |
