my mom had a do when i was a little kid i ask her about it last night after reading all the do post and she still has it and give it 2 me she said its was at least 40 years old. it doesn't have legs and it has a domed lid. but never the less its still awsome she said my dad who passed away when i was 4 used to cook with it so i am very stoked about this new toy  |

Mosmoke..Nice score..You will either need a tri-pod to hang it from or place something under each edge to get it up in the air for the charcoal..
They also work great straight in the oven..

Looking forward to getting started with some DO cooking that is outside of my norm, but I do have a suggestion for this part of the forum...
Since this topic IS going to gather a following I think someone should write and then suggest a "sticky" concerning cast iron seasoning, cleaning, and storing... I know I could sure use it!
I never use soap, but I'm sure I could do a lot of things differently.
