I cooked a Brisket in the pouring rain in Kent, Washington today.

I used Dr BBQ's recipe seen here: http://www.azcentral.com/style/hfe/recipes/articles/0702bbqplank02rec.html

Came out great in only 4 hours!

Very Happy

Looks fantastic NorthwestBBQ. You set is similar to mine with a WSM and a grill under an awning. Did you use the pecan wood?

Injecting with beef broth didn't make it a tad salty?

Northwest BBQ looks like you did a fine job under less than perfect circumstances. I have had my awning up most of the summer....seems like rain has been present for every cook this summer (one of the wettest summers on the books) but I've enjoyed the cool temps. That is some nice looking briskett you turned out ...nice smoke ring and good color....good job.
