Alright, here it is. Slackdog wanted to talk CFB smack yesterday which got me to thinking. There is a small group of folks I work with along with a few others that enjoy doing this each year. So, I thought I would create a group for us Ringers.

It's on Yahoo and you pick the winners of games among the top 25 teams vs. a point spread. You have until 5 minutes before each game to make your picks. Go to the link below and choose to join a group. Enter 13926 for the group ID, and the password is porkfat. The spread will not be available until the week before the games, and it generally moves a little until Friday.

Thanks to you who have joined, but I hope more of you will remember before the deadline. You don't have to compete every week, but it's more fun if you get in on the whole year of competition.

I can understand those of you who live outside the southeast not really being all that interested (poke, gouge), but come on, play along.

Seriously, don't forget. The more we have the more fun it will be.

Come on guys! We got about 6 people so far. Thats ok, but it's a lot of fun when there's more. Imagine a ring with 6 people. There's gotta be more than that on here who love college football.

I was all excited after the first week, but my picks have gone in the tank since then.

As for mid majors, I think BSU has earned the respect like no other mid major. They can compete with anybody, and I mean anybody year after year. After about 5 or 6 years you lose the element of surprise.
