| 64 years old, retired psychologist, Baton Rouge, LA, limited mobility; so o spending a lot of time with grand kids and out door cooking. I have only been cooking seriously for 2 years. Use a Brinkmann Stillwater on back patio facing North & a tailgating 1/4" steel grill on the carport facing South. Been trying to learn a lot fast to make up for my late start, and therefore am often "overzealous." I appreciate the availabilty of this site and the opportunity to participate. over zealous |

Well, we don’t allow people to post here that are a little “over zealous”, … you normally have to be like us, who are a lot over zealous. Actually we let everybody in, “I am proof of that” welcome aboard. _________________ https://www.linkedin.com/in/michaeloberry |

The Over Z Man,
Oh, boy are you gonna have fun here!!!
The Alien Meister said HE was proof they let anyone in here. Not really because he is pretty straight up, and one heck of a BBQ guy!!!!
I am proof they will let anyone in here. I am nuts and I DO have the proof from a guy just like you.
Certified (and not only and Certified BBQ Judge)
So, welcome aboard!!!! Come on in, the smoke is fine.
Come often, stay and enjoy and share your experiences with us and we'll do the same.
P.S. I am harmless, I think.
Smoke On!!!!!

We'll bring you up to speed!
Don't be overwhelmed by some of the complex recipes. You can create great Q and cut a few corners too. It won't win a comp, but the grandkids won't know the difference!
