Hi guys, and gals.

I'd like to thank all of you for all the info I've found here. I've been lurking around for months and using all the juicy tid bits. My BBQ has gotten better to the n-th degree.

I have a cheap char-broil silver smoker from home depot I bought thinking it was the "real deal". After turning much meat into trash I did a little search-work and found the mods by the members. Now I can make BBQ the family raves about. 2 weeks ago I made 2 beer/chickens, 3 racks, and an 18 hour brisket. Everything was great. Not just because of the 3 generations of guys talking smack around the fire, but the meat was really good.

I must also thank you for the nasty case of smoker envy I'm getting from sweating all those pro rigs. Man, I want one!

Al

Under control, Yea right!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Only because of many nights of serious research on the subject. I just wish I had the time to cook out more often.

My wife thinks this is crazy. I must agree Twisted Evil
