Yesterday we had the big bbq party for my son's 6th birthday. He specifically asked me to make him ribs for his birthday, so of course, that's exactly what I did...along with a brisket and 2 butts! Cool

Here are the pics:
The setup:

The setup:

Grub cooking on the trailer. A butt, some ribs, and some of the trimmings from spares. Got some beans under the ribs if you look close.

The brisket and a butt (hiding under the brisket) on the UDS.

The foiled brisket, some ribs, and the butt still playing shy and hiding under the brisket!

THE FINISHED GRUB:
Ribs:

Pulled pork:

Brisket:

Beans:

German tater salad:

And one of the birthday boy with his grub:

rgr223cal Me too. Mc Donalds or Burger King. Chuck E. Cheese once.

BluzQue Mine too, Dec 26th. We can do what everyone else does and just make some Q for Christmas and then we can have the leftovers for my B-Day Wink

Smokin_On-The_Rio Glad to share! Without everyone here at the ring, this grub would not have been as good! I've learned so much here!

whitey Thanks!

Man you got a smart son to be asking for ribs! Like rgr223cal said, most would be happy with McDonalds! Thats where I would go too when I was his age.

Looks like a great feast! Awesome job!

Looks great, my daughters are 2 1/2 and 2 months. I am hoping they will like to cook with me and request some BBQ for their b-day.

I love the expression on your son's face. It says "Come ON Dad - take the picture already so I can get all into the FOOD!" Laughing

Great looking spread, nice job!

Cheers

Boy, you ain't kidding.

And then, almost as quickly, he'll be 26, married, and calling you to tell you he and his wife just saw their first ultrasound images and they'll be delivering your first grandson next February! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Whew! Life just whizzes by...
