Finally got it done! And it is already paying off. I've got people following me to Lowe's and calling the restaurant when I'm on I-75 as I'm traveling around.
Both sides are the same photos and lettering. _________________ Sam Diggity's BBQ

Thanks man. I love it! I bought the pics on Istockphoto.com. They ran about $15.00 each depending on the size. That sight is great to find some really professional photos. It said those were taken with a 39 megapixel camera. No way I could have taken anything that good.
Money wise it ran about $600. The guys that installed it all are right up the road from the store and are good. They eat in here all the time. _________________ Sam Diggity's BBQ

It does look great, but there is just something funny about using some one else's pics to promote your own food. _________________

Normally I would agree James.
But........................most of us don't have a camera with that type of resolution.
By the time you blow up a pic that big of food we cooked that looked great at normal size they are pixelated and look like crap.
JM2C, YMMV. _________________ BBQMAN

That was my intitial thought James. I tried to take some of my own because I wanted people to see the same food on their plate as what was on my truck, but I am not a professional photographer nor did I have the time to set up and take photos like that. I'm marketing and advertising. For the cost of those pictures I just couldn't come close to the quality. I came to the conclusion that I could care less if those pics are not my food. I have yet to have a person that has seen my truck ask me if that was MY food. Most if not all the products you see in advertising are staged and pretty much not even edible because the photos that are taken are done by FOOD STYLISTS to initiate an emotional response.....hunger!!!! That is exactly what is happening too!! _________________ Sam Diggity's BBQ

| Graphics good. choice of font, not so good. Just because it's a country style font don't always mean it's the most legible, or quickest to read. |

That was the best choice of fonts that looked good. I've not had anyone say they couldn't read it even on the road as I go by them. I thought it might be hard to read with the thickness of the letters but it seems fine. _________________ Sam Diggity's BBQ

Is the entire rear door a wrap below the glass? I like the flames and how the cover the door release handle. Looks good! I see no problems with the lettering, the outline makes it stand out very nicely. _________________ Just remember that the toes you may step on during your climb to the top will also be attached to the a$$es you'll be forced to kiss on your way back down! |

Yes it is a vinyl wrap. Jason took the pic of the flames and actually made 3 seperate pieces so the flames wouldn't be too distorted from being over enlarged. It looks great I love it. It took him pretty much all day. He is very meticulas and takes his time to make sure every little nook and cranny is covered and looks great. _________________ Sam Diggity's BBQ

I think I would like to get my tailgate wrapped, I had my window vinyl done by an ex ring member.
The print quality is great, but the dimesions I sent to him were ignored and he used a program that cuts film to size for window tint instead and forgot that the interior size of glass is smaller than the exterior.
So it was a real SOB getting it to fit right. And some of the vinyl lettering was also not made to the dimension I requested and that could not be used either. _________________ Just remember that the toes you may step on during your climb to the top will also be attached to the a$$es you'll be forced to kiss on your way back down! |

Unless it was FREE, I would have sent it back and had him to it as ordered....BEFORE I paid. _________________ Often imitated but never duplicated |
