I'm sure it's tasty, but...I worked at KFC for 8 years of my life and I can tell you that KFC slaw has no garlic, lemon juice, cider vinegar, milk or buttermilk. I does have Mayo, tarragon vinegar, sugar, salt, cabbage onion, and carrots. We made it in huge tubs that started with 50 lbs. of cabbage, so I can't begin to tell you how much of each ingredient. Not to mention that it's been over 20 years ago.
I don't mean for this to sound as bad as it does. I just thought you might get even closer to duplicating the taste if you have the exact ingredients. Your's probably tastes better anyway.

The recipe above is real close to a copycat recipe I use, but mine doesn't have any onions or garlic and has more sugar. IMHO Cole slaw is something you can use a recipe such as the one above and tweak til you're happy. I'd lose the onion, add more mayo, sugar, lemon juice, carrots, radishes, but that's me.

Guess I didn't specify that it is a copycat recipe that I found online several years ago and tweaked to our taste. I have had many people comment that it tastes just like KFC slaw. Didn't mean to insult you or the fine people at KFC. Regardless it's tasty slaw and very easy to make and by all means tweak any recipe to your own taste.

I really didn't mean it the way it came out. I've never noticed tarragon vinegar at local grocery stores, but really haven't looked for it either. I made so much of that stuff when I worked there that I really don't like that style of slaw anymore. I used to love it.
