I plan on doing my test run on my new smoker and I would like to try my hand at some smoked wings. I've never even grilled wings so I'm completely in the dark. I was planning on injecting them with something spicy an a sweet glaze. Thanks for the help in advance. |

guthy_15, Are you talking about full size wings or those small size ones that come with drummettes?
Depending on your cooker temperature the big ones could take 3 hours and the small little rascals 1-1/2 to 2 hours. This is just a "ballpark" estimate. It's best to use a meat probe and check the doneness... 165° minimum. I hope this helps _________________ My current cookers: 80 gallon vertical tank

That's a good time and temp. Sometimes I even run them up to 300. I hate chewy skin and 275-300 will usually stop that from happening. _________________ Smoking on a Lang 84 Deluxe and Lang 36. |
