I've been lurking around and really like the site. I live in the mtns. of NC and it is almost smoking time again. I have learned some good tip's here.

Welcome aboard!! I'm not too far from you, over near Asheville in Hendersonville. 2 of my nephews just finshed college in Boone. That's about 2 hours from here.
You ever eat at the Woodlands BBQ joint in Blowing Rock?

Welcome Shaymus. I love the Boone area- been going up your way since the late 60's when it was a small college town. The area is as beautiful as ever, but sure has grown a LOT!
I have property in the North Georgia mountains and hope to retire in the appalachians some day....................
