Moved to SC (just south of Charlotte, NC) from Chicago area 4 years ago.

Have had many cookers, New Braunfels offset, ECB, pellet, 55 gallon drum, 2 door commercial freezer converted to bbq'r, weber kettle converted to a cheap WSM, but never propane cooker and never will!

Have cooked briskets, brined turkeys, smoked meat loaf, chicken wings, pork butts, once did a 165 pound hawg, rib tips, spare ribs, smoked potatoes.

Make homemade lump charcoal.

Got lots of split hickory from a tree I cut down, split and stacked.

Things are rockin' steady here in Hendersonville, NC.

Just sent a BDS to Steven Raichlen's testing facility down in Miami.
