Mrs. K.A.M. and I had a rather busy weekend so not much cooking on Saturday, and Sunday she was busy with a wedding shower and I was pulling cables at a friends office I am networking, so I did a quickie spatch cocked chicken and bacon wrapped corn.
I rubbed the bird down with Big Ron's rub and buttered up the breasts.

Then layered it with bacon.

Made some little boats for my bacon wrapped corn.

On the Kettle with some Pecan for flavor.

Plated up with a salad, the tomatoes are fresh from the garden. and Uncle Ben's herb roasted chicken rice.

k.a.m. as always you broke out the good grub when I was hungry. Or maybe you break out the good grub and I get hungry. Awesome looking plate and I won't rest now til I had some sliced maters with some cracked black pepper. That tops off a plate very nice.

Thanks k.c.hawg, of all the things Mrs.K.A.M. and I grow in our garden I miss the fresh tomatoes the most, when its to hot for them to grow. I just hate pulling the plants. knowing my next tomato is from a store.

Thanks erniesshop, Who needs yard birds when you turn out fine steaks like yours. Very Happy

Thanks C.B., We have not had it in a while and I forgot what I was missing. Very Happy

Thanks dsapp, I am liking this rub, not a lot of salt and a great flavor.

Thanks jawquin, you should try the corn it is a real nice treat.

Thanks LordCindersoot, we eat a lot of yard bird, I especially like it pulled and put in soft corn torts.
