I just got done with a UDS build and realized I never painted it. How important is it to paint it? Can anyone recommend a good high-heat paint that is readily available.
Thanks

The paint will go a long way towards preventing rust. Anywhere you have exposed metal on a steel barrel it will begin to rust after a while.
I am using Rust-oleum hi-temp primer and hi-temp grill paint. I found the primer in AutoZone and the paint at Lowes. It is rated to 1500 degrees. |

Adam, I used duplicolor engine paint on Mrs.K.A.M's. it is holding up really well. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.
