Ouchie Boo Boo!
Hint;
If you are taking narcotic pain meds, purchase a stool-softener or a mild laxative to go along with them. Those pesky doctors seem to not tell anyone that little tidbit!
Amen!!! I had my wisdom teeth out last year and they gave me a script for loratabs. Of coarse I ate em like candy but after a couple days I couldn't crap!!! It really messes up your gut man and I second the stool softeners or a laxative! By the way when I had my teeth cut out I was out on the lake the next day high as a kite fishing a bass tournament!!! I admit a almost fell in like thirteen times!!! Get well soon brother but take it easy. Don't push it and when the good woman (if you got one) tells you not to do somethin like cook some butts or something, listen to her, or you might recruit her to man up and run the cooker!!! Just pullin your leg! Oh uh- sorry I forgot! Get well! |

I can feel that one from here. Sorry to see you out of action, however as the "pit master" of your own domain, you are fully qualified to play on the sympathies of your friends and family and guilt them into doing the legwork. (pun intended). _________________ Chris from Uxbridge,MA

Dont forget to milk it for all its worth.. It aint often we get to lay about and have those that love us wait on us hand and foot.. Even when the leg is getting better, they dont know that.. Its great to have a personal beer and snack delivery service.. _________________ Chargriller Akorn

The bright side is........... the tibia looks intact and if so you should be able to bear weight on it fairly soon. That siad, still don't want to be in your shoes, er, cast.
Hope you're back up and around soon. _________________ Naughty Nurses BBQ

Surgery is on friday plate in the bone, screw to put the fibula back n place, torn cartilage in the knee MAN I did a good job on this, i have so much road rash from hitting the ground they want to wait to do surgery till the antibiotics kick in to ensure no infections. best part is I will be off work with no income for weeks!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about the injury and being out of work with no pay. Not sure which would hurt most. I would rather not see anymore pictures of the leg, it makes me hurt. Can't we just look at BBQ pics. _________________ Kill a cow, Start a fire ...
