I need some help from you veterans out there as my family is having a rib cooking contest.

Do you think I should do beef or pork? I think I'll be the only one actually smoking them. How long should beef ribs smoke?

Any ideas, or winning recipes youcare to share ?

Thanks,

Chuck

If ya have not done beef ribs before I would not try them if this is a backyard comp. Stick with what ya know IMO.

Yep. Stick with the pork. Not that beef ribs are any harder to cook but like roxy said, stick with what you know. Especially when trying to impress. Experiment when there's nothing to lose.

It shouldn't be a contest. True low-n-slow gets'em every time.

Good luck!
