This is the Char-Griller® Trio #3030 Gas/Charcoal Grill with Side Fire Box
Tractor Supply Co had it on sell for 299. and are the only one on the net with this model. I checked the Char Griller site and they only have the Duo. The only different is the Trio comes with the side fire box and it is a bit different then the one you buy separate. the handle matches the rest of the grill witch adds a nice touch in stead of the wooden handle. The cover that you see comes from Lowe's its vinyl on the inside and a canvas material on the out side. This is A very nice grill for the money Ive used the gas part of the grill and not the wood side yet will do something on the 4th. Will post new pix soon if anyone have any question about this grill i will try to answer them. Next i will put up the mods that i have planed .

|

My wife bought this grill for me for my birthday the first of june....we had to get a rain check and didn't pick up til last wednesday. I have had it 4 days and love it! I have only used the charcoal/wood side, I have cooked burgers, dogs, brats, steaks, pork loin, and today bbq chicken. All of it turned out perfect. Kinda tough managing the heat, but I will get the hang of it. I still have my brinkman pitmaster deluxe, so I am familiar with this type of cooker.
I didn't know these things could be modded, and wanted to ask what type of mods can be done, and what you plan/recomend for this char griller. |

Just do a search for any Chargriller mods. They are pretty much the same concept.
I have extended the smoke stack down to the grate level, and turned the charcoal tray over to use as a heat diffuser, and I am working on getting a charcoal basket to better manage the coals. |
