At the grocery store they have Best Choice Hickory Flavored Wood Chunks. Is this real Hickory or is it somehow flavored with Hickory?
Is there a difference in commercially sold BBQ wood or are they all the same?
Usually I prefer to buy from a local seller but in a pinch I buy chunks at the Grocery store and just recently noticed the "hickory flavor" on the label.
Thanks in advance. |

| I'd guess it's probably real hickory. |

| I bought the same wood chunks and was also concerned. I called the store and they left me a voicemail confirming with their supplier that they were actual hickory chunks. |

Really? Flavored? There are too many other options out there to even consider this. _________________ Pat
