| Hello everyone! I found this site searching for ideas to make my own smoker and tips BBQ'n. The info on here is awesome and I am looking forward to being part of this community. After searching on here I have decided to make my own UDS. Looks like they are pretty affordable and churn out some good chow. Good Q is pretty scarce around these parts! |

| Welcome shahbq. I just got back from tucson last week. While I was down there I asked my buddy where we can try some good Q and he couldn't say. He said he's hoping to get back to KC for some. Anyways this is a great site. All kinds of great info here. Good luck! |

Thanks for the welcome fellas! Yeah, slim pickins with the Q here in Tucson. The locals have voted Famous Dave's the best in town for the last 4 years! While Dave's is not that bad, it is nothing spectacular as I'm sure you already know.
At any rate, I ahm getting my drum on Friday so I will be posting pics in the Cooker forum with my progress. Very excited!
Happy smokin'! |

| Hi ShahBQ, we are down the road a bit from you in Elfrida. We have a mobile kitchen that we work on weekends. Saturday at PC's bar in Sierra Vista for the Belmont Stakes (horse race). Stop in and intro yourself. We have a fabrication shop if you need any help with your project. |

I just may take you up on that Mike!
I think I am going to be good on my current build. But I am planning on doing either a Big Baby double barrel style smoker or an offset in the future. |

| I did eat at a roadside vendor on Swan and 22nd a while back. The Q was OK-rib ends are not my thing, but the sweet potato pie was great! |
