Thanks Beertooth, Mrs.K.A.M. likes to check her coals from time to time on the WSM and asked if she could have one.

Thanks kirspaculous, hopefully Saturday or Sunday will be the break in.

I got the drum and parts back from the blaster. Mrs.K.A.M. chose Hemi orange for her cooker, we will test fire and season tomorrow and hopefully cook on it Sunday.
Access door side.

Thanks RedneckRocket, it is Duplicolor engine paint in the rattle can. My right index finger may never be the same Laughing

Hehe hehe hehe. I know what you mean there. Have you tried the adapters that you can get for the spray cans? They have a trigger on it. Works fair, saves on the fingers though.

Looks nice, can't wait to see it in action!

What's going on there for the inaugural cook? Cool

Love the color, it needs a confederate flag and and "01" on the side Wink Laughing

That came out looking great. It sure is...um...orange. Rolling Eyes Razz As we all know, if Momma ain't happy, nobody's happy, so excellent choice on the color. Wink

Thanks for the tip RedneckRocket, I have pretty much told everyone in ear shot, if I cant load my paint gun next time it ain't getting done. Laughing

Thanks marleyman, I know Mrs. K.A.M. has a chicken and maybe a stuffed tenderloin and ABT's. I will tell her about the flag but she will probably say if you can put a flag on there then I need Tinker bell on there. Laughing

Thanks Vaughn, especially if she is the one doing the cooking Wink

Thanks heavydc2.

Thanks C.B., the lid was one thing I wanted to do so chickens and turkeys had enough room.

Thanks erniesshop, I am working on the flag Wink

Thanks bigjoe, If farve was still with the packers it would have been green. The ABT's are a real treat, you will love them. Smile

Thanks Jim_K, I know we have at least a yard bird and ABT's lined up.

Thanks Haaseman, once she gets the hang of cooking on it I don't think there will be much stopping her. Laughing

Well that color is just PERFECT for a General Lee Style Theme, but we may be able to work out a tinkerbell.... Wink

Can't wait to see the first cook! Cool

k.a.m. it looks great! This is just another confirmation of Mrs. k.a.m.'s good taste! Smile TMy favorite of all the cars I owned over the years was a Hemi Orange 1971 Roadrunner with factory A/C and factory pistol grip 4 speed (a very uncommon combination).

Looking forward to seeing your artwork in action producing food as performace art!

Very cool k.a.m.! I like the color. Too many cookers are plain and boring. I like a little color once in a while. Smile

Man I really need to make one of those.
