doojr, Thanks Very Happy

DENALI, k.a.m. said it was a deer lease thing outside of San Anglo, some years back, they did their potatos that way. You wash and dry the tator than rub it with butter and pour salt on it, than micro wave until tender. Very Happy

We are way North of there.

We live between Beaumont and the Louisiana border. So if you were on your way to S. Padre you would pass right by us Very Happy It's about 460 miles from here.

Awesome! Rib-eyes are the only steaks I will grill anymore. Gotta love the meat along the lip edge.
Here's a baked potato trick you folks might like to try. Goes great with the steaks:

Bake potatoes in 375 degree oven til done. In a saucepan, melt some Velveeta, cheddar and a little milk on medium low (so it wont scorch on the bottom of the pan ). Add a little cayenne to taste.
Cut the spuds in half lengthwise, and scoop all of the potato meat into a mixing bowl. Add the cheese, until you have a nice mixture going.
Scoop back into the skins, sprinkle a little cheddar and some bacon buts on top, and put back into the oven til cheddar on top is melted.
Top with sour cream if you like...Enjoy!
