went to Winco yesterday and picked up a couple butts.....I didn't know that these things were so expensive, I mean .78 per pound...... the bone inside better be made of gold .....
put some rub on the beast and let her sit as i got the fire going. Nothing like waking up before 5 to get dinner started.
and here's a picture of my butt on at two hours into the smoke..... stick around and fallow my progress as i attempt to make some awesome pulled pork sammies.

| That's pretty cheap. The best I can find is .92 at the commisary. Every where else is 1.20 to 1.40 |

Same as you.... Portland area.
Everything went off without a hitch..... brought it up to 203* after 11 1/2 hour smoke. It's resting right now for dinner time at 5:30 pst.
I'll make sure to take pictures before and after pulling... all and all I had a blast today tending the fire and enjoying the beautiful weather.... More to follow.

sorry it's a little blurry.... most of the photo's are taken from my cell phone.
Pork came out perfect...super tender and moist.... we'll be doing alot more of these in the future.
