Needed a pulled pork fix today so I fired up the offset and warmed it up while I rubbed a couple pork shoulder blade roasts with southern succor rub. They weighed in at about 4 lbs each, cooked for 7 hours at 240-250 degrees.I foiled at 170 and took them to 205 degrees, and put in a cooler for 2 hours while I had a rest. Very Happy Head Country BBQ Sauce mixed with the juices from the pork made for an awesome BBQ sauce.I cracked open a can of pork and beans, little salad and some pepper rings,I was good to go. Very Happy

Pulled

All assembled

Thanks Roxy Very Happy I always like to buy smaller cuts of pork for pulled pork,I like 4 pounders, they cook nice and get some nice smoke penetration, and your done in 6-7 hours. Very Happy These were done with all maple smoke ,nice mild smoke, almost sweet tasting. The camera is starting to cooperate. Very Happy

Great looking plate. Captain Morgan indeed. Seems a little of the Capt. in with the foil might have worked really nice as well. But heck, waste not want not, great job Mr Bacon.
