I e-mailed Mark about the possibility of any security Thursday night, and got this reply from Lisa:

"There will be no security available Thursday night. Team check-in will resume at 11am Friday."

"Thank you,

I just left the park, the venue is very solid, the parking on the east side of Memorial is pretty soggy looking though...

Sounds like Memorial side could be fun when exiting then.....I wish they'd give the cook's a more direct line out for a hour or so, took about 45 minutes last year to reach Memorial, and we were close to the front in line.. Confused ...I know, bitchbitchbitch Laughing "slip-sliding away..."

We made about 7 cars back up so we could exit on the west side last year - the a/c on top of our trailer made us too tall to go under the bridge! We're going to remember that this year...

The motorhome in front of us tore up their a/c big time pushing under the bridge.

This is great info to know. Because this is the first year we'll have the travel trailer at Bixby and I would have just gone cruising under the bridge -- till Kim calls me and says, "honey, I think you just lost the a/c off the top of the trailer". DOH!

So Keri/Robert....you guys picking up the parsley? Are we having the parsley challenge, or is everyone just kickin' in for it? I'll be pressed for time Friday, so it's one thing I can scratch off the list.

Lemme know.....

So are you and Mike looking for another to split a case with? If so, count me in!

We will be bringing our log cabin trailer. What route should we take to avoid that bridge? There is NO way we'll fit under it if normal size RV's are having trouble and that thing is not easy to maneuver. Your help would be appreciated!! Laughing

No, no problem coming in. The entrance is on the West side of Memorial (the venue is on the West side as well). Normally to leave, you'd go across the jogging trail and under Memorial then across the sod farm on the East side of Memorial. All of us with large RVs or trailers will need to exit on the West side of Memorial (using the same entrance you go in on) that way you can avoid from having to go under the bridge.
