After getting blown off the water yesterday trying to fish I wanted some country style ribs for supper. Mrs.K.A.M got a pack of those and some beef short ribs. I remembered Brinnie saying he liked the K.C. Masterpiece jerk sauce but it was a bit mild, so I kicked it up a bit. Mrs. K.A.M. also cooked up one of my childhood favorites corn maque choux.
The sauce and one jalapeņo and habenero roasted.
The pork in one bag and the beef in the other.
I cooked the country styles first they were pretty thick, note: I will use thinner pork next time for this.
Then the beef short ribs.
I plated the pork in some flour torts with the maque choux and a salad, Mrs.K.A.M. enjoyed her short ribs she does not care for country style ribs.

Love the country styles on the kettle. About the only thing easier is a hotdog. They are so tasty.
You know speaking of the kettle, I remember before I had one hearing people talk about how great they were. I thought how can something so simple be so great? There were so many other grills that had more gizmo tech. You can't beat a Weber Kettle. Period.
I agree, you guys would make great neighbors. _________________ OK Joe Longhorn

Thanks mwillis, I have to agree whole heartedly about the Kettle I believe it is the best grill on the market hands down, it is so versatile that it can be used for just about anything, and parts are always available if needed. |

Thanks Brinnie, Mrs.K.A.M. and I both really liked the marinade after it was kicked up with the jalapeņo and habenero. The marinade itself has a wonderful flavor but as you said and I found out it just needs a bit more heat. I look forward to the pics of your mods on your bullet |
