Well after eight months of work and lots of help from Stilwell Chuck and the ring the pit is done.

I big word of thanks goes out to Stilwell Chuck for all of his help and guidance with this project. I will be looking forward to sharing future cooks and experiences with yet another "Red" Stilwell Pit.

Johny V- It seems to cook really well...holds the temps conistent, but its going to take a little while for me to learn how to cook with it. I like how it recovers the temp after opening the smoke box.

WOW! That pit is great. You can see a whole bunch of Chucks influence and rightly so! I have picked up several ideas for my next pit from him!

Good work! That is the great thing about building your own pit. The fun doesn't stop after the build is done! Razz
