Lemme try to answer you in small words so you'll understand...

I understand all of it, just not you.

I'm not a sensitive kinda guy, and not into hugs unless you're 20 yrs younger than me, female, and hotter than donut grease. Then you might get one if you ask real nice.

I'm not the serious type either, until I'm cookin'

And you've never had my Q, so you wouldn't know.

You're welcome to come have a sample at any of my contests, I'm real easy to find. I've got about 14 or 15 on the schedule this year so you'll have plenty of opportunity. I might even have a cold beer for ya' if you play your cards right.

Sorry, no hot dogs or pizza though Embarassed

Does Smokin' Sumpin' get extra credit for turning off the caps lock!? Laughing

Here's a little something for Smokin Sumpin, done in Foghorn Leghorn's (the big cartoon rooster) voice " I say, the boy is thicker than a phone book, boy!". Rolling Eyes

Did I hit a sensitive spot. There`s no crying in BBQ trash talk, there`s is no group hugs in BBQ trash talk. Its just trash talk, nothing serious.
Your BBQ still sucks Laughing

You know I've read a lot of threads but I haven't a clue about you Smokin Smokey. We talked about Trash and you didn't answer, then once again you attack AllSmoke for his post.

Your tread started as "Competition BBQ Trash Talk" but it's posted in Restaurants.

You'll have to forgive all of us, we don't understand yelling "which all CAPS is in the INTERNET).

You want to talk trash about Competition or talk about Restaurants?

If I was in another dimension I could understand this thread.

I'm guess you just want to talk Trash about anything. I'm sure there is a TALK TRASH forum out there.

And now back to our Regularly Schedule BBQ discussions.

I've had your Q and it's better than ANY Chicago BBQ I've ever had, although it's not as good as mine (in keeping with the trash talk) Wink

Mikie,
One day you will see me at a contest, but not as a sampler. I will be the contestant smokin the competition. But now im at the bottom of the totem pole working my way up. And by the way, I`ll still take that beer offer :D .

BBQ man,
I think I should get extra credit for taking the locks off. I even bought that typing for dummies book :? .

SmokinOkie,
The moderator is blocking me out from the site at times, I wonder why?
or sometimes im busy catering my "Chicago style hotdogs", as im known by you guys now, making that money. Im not where you big shot competitors just yet.
What do you know about chicago BBQ, There`s so many of the best if not the best BBQ in the world. Cities like Chicago, St. Louis, and Kansas City have world class millionare BBQ`ers. Just like BBQ man said, lots of southerners moved from the south to the north and started BBQ resturants years ago.

Would love to see you at a contest, they are a blast. There are some awesome cooks at them too, so you best bring your A-game. Nothing wrong with being at the bottom of the totem pole, some of us are just more humble when we're there. Wink I'll keep the beer offer open...and BTW, it's Mike. Only my close friends call me Mikey, and you're not quite there yet.

Emeril does some shows with stove top smokers, and while it is not true "Q", it passes for the masses! Same for Bobby Flay, who is more of a grill guy.

No offense guy's, but I'm reasonably sure that both those guys are more succesful with thier careers than anyone here at this board! Laughing Emeril is also a genuinely nice guy, and contributes a lot to charities for dissadvantaged kids.

no doubt Emeril is the bomb at all he does, and he is approachable, and that is more that could be said for allot of celiberties. and his charity work is next to none, especially when it comes to Katrina.

I used to hate Emril...well atleast his show....the audiences there used to get on my nerves with all the "ohh"-ing and "ahhh"-ing... it drove me nuts....wow garlic...no one has ever used garlic before...

but now I watch and just focus on what he is doing..the man knows his way around a kitchen and cooks up some good looking food...his presentation isnt as slick as a bobby "mouth sores" flay, but it still looks good...
