Hi,

I am a BBQ lover but, until now, not a maker. I have recently been watching television shows on BBQ and grilling and have finally gotten a grill.....even though it is used...and GAS! Surprised

I stumbled on this forum because I was looking at grilling accessories and found that the site I was looking at was part of the "Smoke Ring" so I had to investigate.

I was weaned, into BBQ that is, on a few places in Orangeburg SC when I was attending the Tech school there way back in 83-84, eating there several times a week. Then I found Big Bob Gibson's in Decatur Alabama when I happened to be working in that town ( who ever heard of "White sauce"?!!? but MAN it was good).
Finally I moved back to the upstate in SC and have been on a sort of BBQ drought.... Enter FoodTV ... the cravings started with a vengeance!!

Im starting slow and wanting to be the go-to guy for some "smack-your-momma-good" BBQ Laughing

Teach me the Force Obbq-wan!!

Hey neighbor. I'm just across the NC state line near Hendersonville. Let me know if you want to start smoking some REAL BBQ with charcoal and wood direct. I can fix you up with a real nice smoker. You are close enough to pick it up locally and not pay any shipping. I am about 45 minutes from Greenville, SC and Spartanburg, SC. Go to my link below and you can email me sometime. We can turn that gas cooker into a flower planter or better yet.....use it for target practice!! Laughing

Welcome to the forum.

Let me at least go through a full tank before firearms are involved!
