I have been eating up the leftovers in the freezer, dug out a nice big container full of pulled pork.I made up a batch of Roxy's Mustard Sauce, mandantory for my pulled pork sammies. I made up a batch of creamy coleslaw also mandantory for the top of my pulled pork sammie. ...............Roxy might be happier with this post because I don't have all the health food on my plate this time.
I run it it through the blender after I simmer it for awhile to smooth up the onion......awesome!
I loaded these sammies up,they were awesome.

Now that is a BBQ sammich plate..
Looks just about perfect to me. Love the pile of banana peppers on the side. I can almost taste the food...
Great job with the left overs.
Not so keen on that flowery plate ya used.. _________________ Chargriller Akorn

Yes indeed, that is a good looking plate of pulled pork and slaw.
I made some pulled pork also this weekend and some of that fantastic mustard vinegar sauce of Roxy's. |

My kind of plate. If I'm going to eat a sandwich, regardless of size, I'm gonna have TWO of them! _________________ Somewhere in Kenya...a village is missing their idiot. |

| C.B., when you mentioned the mustard sauce in my post from yesterday, I looked it up. I had all the ingredients in the kitchen and made up a batch. I used the Kitchenaid stick blender right in the pot and smoothed mine up also. The wife loved it and so did I. Thanks... Very nice looking plate you have there! |

The sandwiches look really yummy.... minus the BBQ sauce. Okay my hubby would kill me for saying this, but I just don't like the Roxy's Mustard Sauce.
Okay I don't like mustard sauces period so don't take offense Roxy. lol My husband (missionsusmc) just cannot BELIEVE that I don't like your sauce. He thinks I'm crazy.....
I'm also a picky eater so minus the coleslaw from the sandwiches as well. haha My 4 year old son will eat coleslaw but I won't touch it. |
