Here is my girl, Lou-Dogg. She will be 13 years young on 4/10/09. This pic does't really do her justice, but she is the most beautiful English Lab I have ever seen.

Bump it up for the DOGZ! Lots of great looking friends on here.
Hey PigHusker, Lou-Dogg is a real looker. Do me a favor and give her a big hug and a cookie or two. She reminds me alot of my best friend and side-kick Cody that we had to let go just two months ago. I am still reeling from it. She was 12 & 1/2 when we lost her. She was my heart and soul as I was hers. She was a beautiful "block-head" and one of the best bird dogs myself and my hunting friends have ever come across. I am fortunate to have many fond memories from our outings. I can only hope that I am the person she thought I was!
She's just my dog... _________________ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Smo-ken, thanks for the kind words. Sorry for your loss. I think Cody might be Lou's long lost brother. Beautiful dog. I think Lou's best years are behind her. Thanks for the advice. Here are my two:
Keira the Goldendoodle with my son. She's the sweet one.
Oliver the Labradoodle. He's dumber than a box of rocks but friendliest dog you would ever meet.
They love it when I BBQ.

Yeah, yeah, I know. They are little turds, but their mine anyways. This is sally, she was given to us by a neighbor who didn't want her anymore and was going to take her to the pound.
This is Oscar. I hated him and was ticked at the wife when she first brought him home. He was tiny, pooped and wizzed constantly and was yappy at night and early in the morning. Not long after we got him, I had some surgery and was out of work and laid up for a week and he sit in my lap all week and now I wouldn't take anything for him. Very hyper, and loves to play. Hours worth of laughs from him each day.
They are happy to see me, the wife and anyone else for that matter. They even like my cooking |

AuTiger - Now I know where they got the idea for the "Doggie Diner" mascot:
And Chuck, I don't know if you can tell it from this picture but my girl Jazz is a dead ringer for your gal at the very top, at the tip of your trailer hitch:
But I gotta wonder - I had three yellow labs and it would frequently get QUITE ODIFEROUS around here. How can you handle it with FIVE dogz???? _________________ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

This is a Dogo Argentina, and will be my next dog.
Until then, I will settle for what I have. I'll dig up some pics of them, and post tomorrow. _________________ The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over - Hunter S. Thompson |

My sig has a puppy picture of Winston. It's true what they say about Bassets, slow and stubborn as all get out, but lovable.

My neighbor has one too. He is the cutest little thing - especially when he is guarding the perimeter of the yard. It's the funniest little barking that I have ever heard! _________________ "The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits" - Albert Einstein |

This is my smoker dog -- his name is Isaac. We adopted him from the Lab Rescue -- I still can't figure out how he got into the Rescue because he's the best dog and somebody spent time training him. Although he's not much of a hunting dog -- we went camping and while he was taking a nap, he almost got his butt bit by a duck.
I can always tell when he's been out by the smoker by himself -- there's always a grease spot on the top of his head.

We love all dogs, well almost all dogs, the little yappy ones you can keep, we've the three girls and a guy, all cute, bright, fun dogs, but mini schnauzers just do something special for us.
Great Grandma is 13+, Grandma is 8 +, Ma is 3 + and the pup is 8 months, (here's a picture of Haven when he was 2 months old).
