Well it was a beautiful day here in the northwest. Sunny and 41*F. I had a rack of ribs and a whole chicken in the fridge to throw on the WSM. I used cherry for smoke. The ribs were not quite fall off the bone and had great flavor! I also baked some fresh bread. It was a good day. Smile

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I'll have pics of the bird when it's done. Smile

Good looking ribs and bread Beertooth. There's nothing like fresh baked bread. It was alot nicer that the weatherman predicted for sure.
I cooked up some pork spare ribs, twice baked potatoes and fried okra.
No pics though as I was busy on a shed I'm building to house the Traeger.

That looks like a nice little Sunday afternoon meal. I can't even remember the last time I had fresh baked bread. A little honey and some butter on that bread and a plate of those ribs.... WHEW! It would be nap time in Naptown. Laughing

Beertooth Exclamation

Beam me up, Scotty Exclamation The fresh bread puts this over the top. I love it. It's right up there with heated floors.

Thanks for all of the kind comments everyone!

I'm finally able to do ribs consistently and have them come out the way I like them. They are the reason I got into smoking. Smile

The bird didn't come out until really late 'cause I cooked it at 235*F most of the time. Last time I do that. It took something like 5 hours! Shocked It did turn out very good and juicy though. Smile Injected with some creole butter and rubbed with Weber Kick'n Chicken.

Here are a couple shots. Sorry for the blurriness on the second two.

Nice looking ribs Beertooth. The chicken looks awesum too. I need to try the Weber Kick'n Chicken rub. Is it sold in stores or make it up yourself? Again nice cook.
