I am down with the Flu and Mrs.K.A.M. had already taken out a 10lb. Picnic to smoke so I trudged through it. I bought some RO chefs best charcoal to try out and that was the purpose of this cook to start with. I can say I got nine hours out of one ring in the WSM and then had to reload. All of the charcoal was consumed except for a handful of coals when I reloaded. Sorry no plated pics. I put the picnic on at 6:30 A.M. and took it off at 8:30 P.M. Mrs. K.A.M. came to my rescue and pulled it for me because at that time I would have given it to our dog I felt so bad. Anyway here are some pics.

Rubbed it down with Tony Chacherie's and a little brown sugar then slathered.

The six hour mark.

Resting, notice the bone was an easy slip out.

Mrs.K.A.M.'s first pull job I gave her an A+ after seeing the pics this morning.

Hope your feeling better K.A.M. I have been battling some nasty bug as well this week.. One of the servers at work brought it in and passed it on to the staff.. Spent my days off in bed or wrapped in blankets on the couch.

Nice looking picnic there indeed. The better half did a good jo on the pulling as well. It looks very moist.

Thanks roxy, I know all about the blankets after the last two days. I hope you get to feeling better as well, this stuff will certainly take it out of you. I am very lucky to have Mrs.K.A.M. as my wife, now she can add another notch to her cooking ability's. I normally do all the shredding or pulling but she did a fine job.
