So the wife gets together with some old girlfriends each month, they rotate houses and whosever house they are at, they are responsible for the meal. This is where I come in. Apparently I'm nothing but her personal chef, party coordinator, sponsor, and personal amusement park. Wink

I leave work early to go to the store, and then start her meal. Grilled pork loin, Roasted potatoes with onions and garlic, asparagus cooked on the grill, in foil, with Butter, EVOO, Salt & Pepper. I also neede to ice down a cooler of beer, wash the dishes, toss the salad, and put out a veggie tray w/ dip and some brownies. Mrs. Smokealot gets home sees that I have everything under control, and goes to take a walk! Shocked When finished with her meal I'm under orders to leave. (Like I want to be there anyway)

Well, I told that story to make my better half seem like a demanding whench, that could not be any farther from the truth. There are a few guys here that know how much she does around my house. (like everything) I just wanted her to be able to relax and have fun with her buddies.

Here's some pics of me preparing the meal;

Pork tenderloins trimmed, lightly dusted, and on the grill;

Potatoes were cubed & seasoned with Cavenders salt, fresh cracked pepper, and drizzled with EVOO.

Asparagus; Butter, EVOO< Salt & Pepper

Finished pork

That pork looks like it was cooked perfect, did the girls like it like that? Most girls I know would say that was raw.

Sirsmokealot, thats some mighty fine looking tenderloins Very Happy I would love to know a bit more about those taters, were they cooked on the grill? They look delicious as well. And the asparagus looks awesome, I bet the house rotation is a bit lop sided after a spread like that, you know lets just meet at the smokealot's tonight by the way what is Mr. smokealot cooking tonight. Very Happy

I love asparagus!!!!!! Only bad thing about it is that your pee stinks the next morning, standing by the pisser wondering if that liver finally gave out!!!!

Nice looking meal you had there, the hens should be happy!

That's a great looking spread. It always pays to keep the ladies happy especially after an evening around a cooler full of beer. Very Happy

Asparagus is one of those vegetables you have to hit right for my own personal taste, It has to be cooked but not soggy. Those look great though! Nice color and they look like they are done correctly. I'm sure they appreciated it. Good job.
