For those of you who have a concession trailer, what kind of water heater do you use? Do you use a traditional style with a tank, or do you use a tankless? If a tankless, is it a propane or electric? Do you ever run out of hot water?

Ariston 4 gal electric. Paired with a Shur Flo demand water pump (avail in 110v or 12v) works great. The water heater is avail at Home Depot but pump in 110v (park model) is special order most places

I have a 3 compartment sink with compartments that hold about 5 gals of water each. I'm afraid a tank like you have wouldn't be enough to fill t and still have hot water left over. Does it recover quickly?

4 things,
1. It recovers very quickly
2. The third bay is cold water sanitize (100-200ppm bleach)
3. You won't completely fill each sink and it will be a mix of warm and cold. Warm water wash and rinse needs to be over 100 but you will probably set heater to 120
4. they also make a 6 gal.

and a 5th thing. It may not, in fact, be right for you but it works well for us and we have 4 sink bays and not the itty bitty ones you often find on trailers. But, to your point, they also are not nearly as big as yours, probably more like 2 -3 gal each.

I'll be interested to read what other's use.

Good luck

The concentration of bleach used depends on how warm your water is, as I'm sure you already know. I usually use warmer water and thus need a lower ppm. Maybe I will try using cooler water.

Thanks for the info! I too will be looking forward to what others are doing.
