Hey, I noticed in another thread that you mentioned you would build whatever anyone wanted. Do you do any backyard models? If so, what kind of set ups do you have designed? Standard Offsets? Verticals? Thanks for the info man.

I'll piggyback Brad's question with one about making a Brinkman clone out of 1/4" pipe.

Give me a call, so I can get the specifics from you and I'll work up a price. In years past, I have built a lot of backyard standard offsets. We have just been busy in the trailer units and I haven't really focused on the backyards like I should have.

Go with a design that Travis already has, and that works well. A Brinkman "clone" is not what you are after, IMHO! Very Happy

If they don't lift the Oklahoma burn ban pretty soon, I am going to have Travis make me an electrical element for Fatty. I know it will draw so much I will cause a brown-out in my town, but I need to fire Fatty up any way I can.

It's KILLING me.

Just tell everyone that it's not smoke they see and smell, it's steam. The Fat 50 is just a sauna... For beef/pork/poultry etc.

Shocked WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME???? Shocked

This really never occured to me. Load a couple of coolers with meat and beer and ROADTRIP! Got a buddy that doesn't drink, so the drive home is covered. Cool

Does anyone know if Kansas or Arkansas has a burn ban right now? Question Question
Jay

No burn ban in my part of Kansas. There may be one in the southern parts though. Anyone here from Wichita area under a burn ban?

Jay, I'd tell you to drag it down here, but I set the yard on fire last time I tried to smoke. And mine is sitting 4 ft from the grass with a concrete wall around it.

Brilliant!

Or you could bring big brother to see his younger brother here in Hotlanta. We are less worried about fires & more into building Arch's here.

You need an accelerant to start a fire on the ground at my place and chance are the dern thing will float off before it gets burning good.
